I am a writer, editor and content strategist with expertise in a number of areas, including country music, fitness, health care, food, cooking, nature, outdoor/adventure, travel, mixed martial arts, advertising, profiles, biographies, speeches and more.
After earning a B.A. in History and English from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2001 and an M.A. in Communications from the University of Memphis in 2005, I have spent the last 17 years working in the editorial/media industry.
I have worked as a writer, editor and content strategist for a number of national publications, including Outsider (senior managing editor), Nash Country Daily (editor in chief), Country Weekly Magazine (managing editor), FIGHT! Magazine (managing editor) and True North Custom Publishing (senior managing editor).
